Dots and Dashes Embroidery with Deb McManus (2 sessions)

This class is perfect for beginners looking to learn or improve their embroidery skills. Under Deb’s expert tutelage, you will earn a colorful array of stitches that can embellish your knitting, sewing, and hand-embroidered heirlooms. You will be proud of your work and amazed at the many applications of embroidery.
We will work our stitches on a table runner or placemats if you desire. See below for the list of supplies. (The helpful folks at the shop can help you pick with your supplies if you need.)
Supplies:
Background wool length measuring 9 x 52”; let Deb know when you register if you wish a wool length to be provided
2 “ wool squares in assorted colors; some will be provided with class instruction
Circle template
Cotton threads to match wool
White marking pencil Bohn or Sew Fine
Embroidery threads; 8 wt, 5 wt; or floss that is not divided
Cotton or wool background for backing

Milliners needles Size #1 and #3
Tapestry needle size 24 and size 18
